STANDARDS FOR THE PRODUCTION AND SPECIFICATION OF ADDITIONAL ARMOR

Pb – lead shot

SS 109 – designation of the projectile according to the NATO standard (5.56×45 is a projectile of the NATO standard)

AP is an abbreviation – armor piercing

IMPORTANT

Both steels plates ARMOX 6,5mm & HARDOX 8,5mm have been tested and they meet the maximum resistance. Check the test protocol and resistance table.

In the Czech Republic, resistance against Soviet-type calibers is developed so that our additional armor can withstand everything that is used on the battlefield.

The pinnacle of everything is the SVD Dragunov rifle with a 7.62x54R cartridge with a steel penetrating core, we stop this bullet as well and thus fulfill the resistance class according to ČSN TBO 7CZ. (equivalent to US level IV)
